Jewelry/Handmade glass beads

Taking a solid piece of glass and changing its shape and structure is a very rewarding process. Each bead is a unique, tiny piece of art. My current fascination is combining silver and glass. Wonderful things happen when the two are melted together. I’ve been creating beads
since 1996. My love of nature and the beautiful places I’ve lived continue to influence my creations, many of which resemble natural stones, or water over stones. My beads are made using a propane/oxygen mix torch. Glass is wound and layered around a steel mandrel, then placed in a kiln for annealing. My hope is that my beads will be something to treasure, enjoy, and share.
